These instructions cover both up dating from the free trial and also
from version 1.6.7 to 1.6.8 version

Up-Date to RR-1.6.8 and  Security Fix

ALLWAYS BACK UP YOUR DATABASE AND ALL FOLDERS THAT YOU ARE MAKING CHANGES TO

Upgrade instructions for Rapid Recipe 1.6.8

Files affected - Front-end
rapidrecipe.php
rapidrecipe.class.php
rapidrecipe.html.php  (only for item 4)
xajax.rapidrecipe.php (only for Joomla 1.5.x)
sef_ext.php

Files affected - Administration
admin.rapidrecipe.php

(If you have made any changes (Customizes) to the non-encoded files prior to this new release you will need to make them again to these files)

1. Take a backup of your database and your component files from your site
2. Log into our website and you will notice that you have a new menu in the left hand column called "My Downloads" you will see a link to download the software that you have purchased and download Rapid Recipe and  Unzip it locally
3. Copy from the files you unzipped to your site in the directory /components/com_rapidrecipe the following:
rapidrecipe.php
rapidrecipe.class.php
rapidrecipe.html.php  (only for item 4)
xajax.rapidrecipe.php (only for Joomla 1.5.x)
sef_ext.php
4. Copy from the files you unzipped to your site in the directory /administrator/components/com_rapidrecipe the following:
admin.rapidrecipe.php
5. Go to your Joomla administration, in the component main page: http://mysite/administrator/index2.php?option=com_rapidrecipeand click on the button saying "update db to latest version"
6. Test that everything in your site works as it should.
