Component

RapidGlossary comes with a standard component that you upload and install like a normal component using either Mambo’s or Joomla’s Component installation instructions, no other configuration needed.

Module

RapidGlossary comes with one Module to display the categories that you set up in the Glossary that you upload and install like a normal component using either Mambo’s or Joomla’s Component installation instructions, standard placement configuration is all that is needed.

Mambot

RapidGlossary comes with Mambot that creates a pop up window where ever you embed it into your CONTENT. For Set Up and Embedding see Instructions below.

Managing Categories

Select Components and then Glossary and Select Manage Categories; from there you just add Categories.

Managing Terms

Select Components and then Glossary and Select Manage Terms; from there you just add terms and assign them to categories.  Up-Load images as you go.

Configuring Pop-Up Mambot

1. Select Mambots/ SCGlossaryPopup
   "Do not change the settings in the first (4) setting windows.  These settings are for advanced coding effecting the lay out."
2. Background Color; this sets the color of the background of your pop up window.
3. Border (and Caption) Color; this sets to color of the caption box and border of the window.
   Box text color; this sets the color of the text in the main window.
4. Caption text color; this sets the color for the text in your caption header.
5. Box width; this sets the width of your pop-up box window. The length of the window will depend on the length of the text that populates the pop-up box.
6. Box position; these setting controls where the box will pop-up either above your mouse pointer or below it.
7. Box alignment; these setting controls how the text will appear in the box left, right or center.
8. X Offset; this setting controls how far away in pixels from the mouse pointer the box will appear horizontally.
9. Y Offset; this setting controls how far away in pixels from the mouse pointer the box will appear vertically.
10. To embed this into any standard Joomla content, add a term into the glossary, then open up your content and select that term name with in it and surround the term with this {mosgloss=term} this will create the syntax to create the pop up mouse over when the content is published.
