Buttered Asparagus Spears

Description This is an easy side dish that will make any entrée look like a professional Chef prepared it.  The Asparagus and Butter is a great Marriage.

16 each Jumbo Asparagus Spears
1 T spoon Un-Salted Sweet Butter
Kosher Salt and Ground White Pepper to taste

Methods/steps

1) Cut and Size the Asparagus

2) Peel the Asparagus

3) Blanch the Asparagus in Lightly Salted Water for about 60 to 90 seconds

4) Refresh the Asparagus right away in ice water to stop the cooking process

5) To reheat for service place the butter into a small sauté pan over low heat.

6) When the butter melts add the Asparagus.  Season the Asparagus with salt and pepper to taste.
Additional Tips
